I’m a firm believer in giving credit when credit is due so this morning I wanted to give a BIG “thumbs up” to Think Tank or more specifically their Urban disguise range of bags!
If you read this blog regularly you’ll know I’m just back for my MMoS Monday after being in the Emerald Isle. Now me being me I wouldn’t travel without camera gear… got to keep shooting!!! However, I was conscious that I didn’t want to pack a “working” amount of kit so I decided I’d limit myself to Think Tanks Urban disguise, a tiny bag in comparison to my normal brace of pull-a-longs!
OMG I was AMAZED! I could not believe what I managed to get (easily) into the thing!!! Deep breath, here goes…
2x Bodies with grips
3x zoom lenses
1x prime lens
2x Nissin Di 866
4x Sets of Elinchrom Universal skyports
1x portaflex
chargers, spare batteries, cards and my ipad… oh and a paperback!
ALL in a bag smaller than a regular office briefcase… surely it must be dimensionally transcendental!!! For those not as nerdy as I thats the physics behind Dr Who’s “bigger on the inside than the outside” tardis ;0)
The only addition to this kit was my 36” McGillicuddy BIG dish multi modifier and a stand… was it enough to create beautiful images? Had I compromised myself???
You tell me? ;0)

Now for my money, this is the best advert for a) looking at Think Tank kit and b) getting yourself on either (or both) Team McGillicuddy’s “Urban Kids” or “Mini lights – Maximum effect” workshop days! You can check the training out by clicking “HERE”.
